20008 Full Moon Series (archive)
Our Full Moon Series Final Race and Celebration was held Tuesday October 28th, 2008. The top three winners of the entire series were:1st - Blake McCloskey, 2nd - Dustin Thompson, 3rd - Ian Johnson. They all received gift certificates from Maddog Bicycles ($25-1st, $15-2nd, $10-3rd) they also received custom made Full Moon number plates designed by Kelle Freels! Everyone who participated, win or lose, received a participant certificate, also designed by Kelle Freels. Everyone who raced at least 4 of the Full Moon races also got their Full Moon T-shirts, designed by James Vanek of Basco Printing. FULL MOON SERIES FINAL RACE & CELEBRATION
When: Tuesday October 28th
What time: sign ups 6:30-7:30
This is the final full moon race of the series and the full moon celebration. We are having a costume contest, Awards to different categories...Scariest, funniest, best, etc. The contest will be judged at approx. 6:45 so we can allow time for riders to get out of their costume and be ready to race. We will have carnival type games for all ages. We have a Halloween limbo, spider ring toss and bean bag toss. at intermission we will have mummy races. this race will be a relay race with teams of 4. prizes awarded to 1st thru 3rd. plan to enter this one, it's going to be a blast! We will have caramel apple wedges for sale in the concession. Everyone who raced at least 4 of the full moon races will receive their t-shirt Tuesday at the race.
